How to reach Sariska from Delhi?
By Air
Sariska Safari booking office is 180 km from the Indra Gandhi International Airport, Delhi that connects all Indian and international flights. It takes about 4.5 hours to travel by road.
Simply, hire a taxi from the Delhi airport which will charge you for taxi fare, fuel, toll, parking and driver charges. To Fro fare for a taxi should be around 7500-9500 for 2 days trip.
By Road Self Drive
Sariska has located approximately 230 km from Cannaught Place, Delhi. It comes under the Alwar district of Rajasthan.
The driving direction from Delhi is
- Head towards Outer Ring Road.
- Then take NH 48 (Jaipur Highway) and drive till Sariska cut after Aspura. You will cross Neemrana, Behror, Kotputli on the way.
- Enjoy your breakfast at the Highway King Dhaba.
- From Sariska cut take NH248A (Alwar Road) and drive to the Sariska Booking office.
There are several toll plaza on the highway. The toll may cost around 350 – 550 one way. There are many petrol pumps on the way, so don’t worry about the fuel. Also being a high traffic highway, there are lots of repair and puncture shops if in case it is needed.
By Train
The nearest railway station from Sariska is Alwar Junction. It is 40 km from Alwar on falls on Jaipur Alwar highway NH248A.
The best way to come by train is to catch morning Ajmer Shatabdi from New Delhi Railway station and drop at Alwar. From Alwar, it is a 2-hour road journey. Further, either take a cab or come from a local transport bus. A list of other trains from Delhi is below.

By Bus
Sariska is very well connected by bus as well. There are lots of Rajasthan State Transport buses and private buses as well.
A comfortable way of reaching by bus is to take a Jaipur Volvo from Delhi. Thereafter, drop at Shahpura and then take an Alwar state transport bus. It will drop you at the Sariska safari gate.
Also, you can take a state bus from Delhi directly to Alwar. Thereafter from there change another bus to Sariska which will take 2 hours.
